"The Victor"

In Part 3 of the book, the  games start to get very interesting. Katniss's ally Rue has died. Soon she hears of a new rule in the games- two people can win the games if they are from the district. Katniss imediately decides to find Peeta & team up. She finds him the next day disguised in the mud & very hurt/weak. She drags him out & makes sure he is safe & cleaned. Next, she finds a cave for them to stay in. As the days go by, the romance between Katniss & Peeta becomes stronger, but there's always the thought that it's just for sponsors in the back of Katniss's mind. Peeta is very sick & a feast is offered to the tributes. Katniss manages to get a medicine from Haymitch to knock Peeta out so she can sneak away to the feast. There, Clove dies & Katniss is spared by Thresh. Him & Cato are still alive as well as Foxface. Katniss gets the medicine Peeta needs to get better at the feast & sneaks away without being killed.


Will Cato come after Peeta & Katniss now that Clove is dead?
